GUOMAT air spring without internal rod, piston or sliding seal
In GUOMAT actuators, there are no internal rods, pistons or sliding seals like many conventional cylinders, which gives GUOMAT an advantage in applications where dirt or grit will erode conventional cylinder seals.
The frictionlessness of GUOMAT air springs
In the absence of a sliding seal, the Airstroke actuator does not break away from friction.

GUOMAT air spring angle capacity
Without a clevis, a stroke through an arc may produce angular movements of up to 30 degrees.
GUOMAT air spring side loading capacity
In some cases, free-stroke actuators are not affected by side loads. This eliminates the possibility of rod bends, nicks and excessive seal wear that are common when using conventional cylinders.
