It is use in a wide variety of actuation and vibration isolation.
With time-tested designs incorporating fabric-reinforced or natural rubber flex-member construction and corrosion-protected and retainers, Air Springs provide superior quality and performance.
As an actuator, Air Springs can provide either linear or angular motion.
These air springs offer a favorable stroke-to-compressed-height ratio when compared to air cylinders, and can accept a wide variety of actuation media such as air, water, nitrogen or anti-freeze.
Preventative Maintenance Air Spring
1 | Check the outside diameter of the air spring. Check for irregular cracks. |
2 | Check the air pipe. Verify that the air tube does not have any contact with the outer diameter of the air spring. |
3 | When the air spring is at the maximum outer diameter, check whether the clearance around it is sufficient. |
4 | Check whether there is foreign matter accumulation on the outer diameter of the piston |
5 | The correct suspension height should be maintained. |
6 | The height valve (height control valve) plays an important role in keeping the entire air spring system working as required. Clean, inspect or replace as necessary. |
7 | Check whether the shock absorber is installed correctly, and check whether there is oil leakage and whether the end connection parts are damaged. |
8 | Check all mounting hardware (nuts, screws) for tightness |
